FORHAIR FUE Hair Journey

A Real Patient's Hair Transplant Timeline

We're honored to introduce our patient's experience. Hair results take time to manifest, and understanding the process can help alleviate concerns during recovery, allowing you to savor the gradual progres of hair growth

INTRODUCING ST

 Age: In his early 30's

 Nationality: American

•  Hair characteristics: Thin, medium blonde and straight hair

FUE TREATMENT OVERVIEW

•  Hair transplant techinique: Forhair FUE with SLIT implantation

•  Haircut style: Fully shave

 Graft count: 1,500

Hair goal: Improving hair density on front region

•  Selected hairline design: V-shape

•  Treatment planHe has experienced hair loss for nearly 10 years, and as a result, his hairline has receded, and the volume of his hair at the front has decreased considerably, making it difficult to style; his hair often falls flat. He has been taking hair loss medication for 1 year and has been using Rogaine for 8 years. Finally, he decided to undergo a hair transplantation but preferred a conservative treatment approach. He didn't want a dramatic change in his hairline shape but rather sought to increase volume and fill in the thinning patches.

Our plan was to maintain his current hairline shape without lowering it and to add new hairs between the existing ones with 1500 grafts (approximately 3500-3800 hairs). By not lowering the hairline, his forehead would remain high, but he would achieve a fuller hairline and sufficient volume of new hair, allowing him to style it as desired with a relatively smaller number of grafts.

FUE SESSION DAY & POST-OP DAY 1

Recipient area: The grafts are implanted in the target area as designed with high density. These grafts, depicted as white balls, will transform into scabs within a day or two and are to be removed on post-op day 14.

*Fully shaven FUE: We offer three types of haircuts: fully shaved, partially shaved, and zero shaved. Individuals can choose their preferred method.

Pictures in order: Immediate after surgery / The following day after the 1st shampoo

WEEK 3 - FUE hair transplant

After 3 weeks, there has been a noticeable improvement in coverage on the shaved head. The donor site has healed quickly, with no visible signs from the surgery. As for the recipient site, it shows some slight redness and the transplanted hair will start to shed as past of the recovery process.

4 MONTHS - FUE hair transplant

Fine hairs emerged from the scalp around 3 months post-op, and the recipient area is filled with new hairs forming the new hairline. Styling with the newly grown short hair is challenging, but the new hairline starts to form!

8 MONTHS - FUE hair transplant

Over the past months, new hairs have grown actively, becoming thick and long. While there are still short and thin new hairs that are continuing to grow, there are no thinning patches, and the hairs on the front now stand up so can be styled.

12 MONTHS - FUE hair transplant

Final result: The new hairs have successfully grown to mature thick hairs seamlessly blending with the existing hair. He has gained sufficient hair volume, allowing for styling, and the parting line on his top has vanished. Although his forehead may still appear high, as he did not want to lower it, the presence of the new full hairline effectively eliminates the impression of hair loss. He finds this shape more natural.
